The Meaning of "Patine"

Derived from the word patina, our name reflects our obsession with the natural aging process of fine metals. To us, a handle that darkens over years of use isn't wearing out; it is gaining character. It is a record of daily rituals, family meals, and the passing of time. We created this atelier (workshop) to celebrate this organic beauty, moving away from the mass-produced, plastic-coated hardware that dominates today's the market.
