"It all started when I was trying to renovate my own kitchen."

Hi, I’m Stella, founder of Patine Atelier.

A few years ago, I embarked on a personal project to update our kitchen hardware. I wanted pieces that felt substantial, elegant, and timeless—hardware that had weight in your hand and character that would only deepen over time.

But as I searched, I kept running into the same frustrating cycle: designs I loved were often made with cheap, hollow metals; high-quality pieces were rarely available in genuine Unlacquered Brass; or the items I desperately needed were perpetually out of stock or only available overseas with painful, weeks-long shipping delays.

I realized that if I couldn't find hardware that met both my aesthetic standards and quality expectations without the endless wait, others were likely facing the exact same struggle.

So, I decided to build Patine Atelier—a dedicated space for design lovers, homeowners, and trade professionals who refuse to compromise on the details.
